Drone Thermography

Our Instruction - To inspect and report on heat loss issues.

The Property - Residential - Detached Bungalow.

The Location - Beccles, Suffolk.

We were instructed by a private homeowner to inspect their property, as they had noticed a cold internal thermal environment, despite heating the property and also despite the fact that the property was a new-build.

Thermal imaging was utilised internally, using high-specification thermal imaging cameras, and high specification thermal imaging drones were also used externally.

​

By using both techniques we were able to inspect, report and advise robustly to our client, the overall current thermal performance of their property, including their roofs.

​

We were able to advise and recommend remedial works to our client, which involved air-sealing and increasing thermal insulation levels. Our report was also used to 'encourage' the developers who built the property to undertake the necessary works at their own expense.
